Carbon Credit Coin supports environmental sustainability by enabling token burns to retire CO2 credits on the BNB Smart Chain. Burns remove CCC from circulation, retires the attached carbon credit certificate (or part thereof) and issues the user with a certificate to verify their carbon offsetting.

Burning CCC & Retiring Carbon Credits

1. User submits a burn

The holder burns a chosen amount of CCC from their wallet. Example: burning 5,000 CCC retires 5,000 kg (5 tonnes) COâ‚‚e.

2. Certificate is issued

Once confirmed on-chain, the burn event is linked to a carbon offset certificate. We issue the certificate and publish a hash or reference on this page. Each record below links the burn transaction to the retirement certificate.
