Burn CCC to Lower Your Carbon Footprint
When you Burn CCC it is extinguished and removed from circulation.
The Carbon Credits attached to them are retired and can no longer be used.
The transaction is recorded on the blockchain, and a Carbon Offset Certificate is issued in your name.
Burning CCC finances Certified Projects that remove carbon from the atmosphere and compensates for your emissions.
1,000 CCC = 1 Tonne of Carbon Removed. This is enough to fill 500 fire extinguishers or 10 swimming pools, and has the same weight as 400 bricks.

You can choose to Offset By The Tonne or for your Business, Household, Vehicle or Flights.
- The personal calculator gives you a quick estimate of your footprint based on global averages.

Your footprint
This calculator provides a basic estimate of your annual emissions using simplified averages from sources such as the IPCC and studies on household energy, transport, and diet. For greater accuracy, use the calculator from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Carbon credits compensate for your emissions by financing verified projects that remove carbon from the atmosphere. This includes wind, solar, hydro, biomass energy recovery, geothermal and GHG abatement. They also drive sustainable development and improved living conditions.

Businesses should use the Climate Change Institute’s GHG Protocol Accounting Guide and UNFCC tutorials for more information on how emissions are calculated for companies and products using recognised standards. An Emission Reduction Program for businesses is also provided free of charge by the Institute

The Climate Change Institute is committed to finding solutions by supporting UN carbon reduction projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions whilst supporting sustainable development and providing resources to help individuals and organizations take action to lower their carbon footprint.
